About the Founder:
Our founder, TJ Lockwood, holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and an M.A. in Statistics (Data Science) from Yale University. Prior to obtaining his Master's, he worked as a Naval Engineer on the research and development of cutting-edge technologies such as autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), submarine towed arrays, and surface vessels. After his experiences in naval engineering and quantitative finance, he brought many transferable skills to his ultimate passion:
Custom home design. TJ has been working in structural engineering specifically for high end custom homes since 2023, and fell in love with the field. Since then, he has worked on over 50 homes mostly in the Greenwich/Fairfield CT area, but he is continuing to expand in Southeastern CT and Rhode Island. Outside of the office, TJ enjoys spending time with his family, playing pickleball, and fishing.

Our work ranges from sizing a single beam, to the complete design of a 20,000 square foot custom home. No project is too big or too small.
We pride ourselves on providing clear, concise, and accurate drawings that are easy to read and build. We believe it is detrimental for drawings to be unorganized or unclear which can lead to costly building mistakes.
